UFMA Uniform and Equipment
Every student who joins the club will receive a complimentary UFMA T-shirt to begin their training. Additional UFMA T-shirts can be purchased through the club if required.
The official UFMA training uniform consists of:
- UFMA T-shirt
- UFMA training trousers
- Grade belt
The club will provide each student with their initial white belt.
To begin training, the minimum equipment required is a pair of boxing gloves; however, loan pairs are available for your first few sessions.
As students progress and prepare for their first grading, they will be expected to have purchased their own UFMA training trousers and boxing gloves.
Grading requirements:
- Junior students must have their full UFMA training uniform and boxing gloves for their first grading.
- Adult students must have their full UFMA training uniform, boxing gloves, and full sparring equipment for their first grading.
As students advance, additional protective equipment will be required, including headgear, a mouthguard, shin guards, and either groin or chest protection.
All UFMA uniforms must be purchased directly through the club. Equipment can be purchased through us at a discounted rate or sourced independently.
Other items, such as UFMA hoodies, jackets, and bags, are available to purchase through the club but are not mandatory for training.
